Blogpreneur Contest

1 comment Posted by success

TiECON and Chitika are hosting a Blogpreneur Contest in which bloggers share their success stories for a chance to be spotlight featured during the Entrepreneur Forum, at the TiECON East Conference.

TiECON Blogpreneur Contest 2008My first blog was about life as a work-at-home mom. Today I have several blogs related to working at home and avoiding scams, but the one that is most successful and I’m most proud of is Work-At-Home Success’s blog.

Traditional businesses have Forbes and Inc Magazines to keep them informed of news and trends. My mission is for Work-At-Home Success’ blog to fill that same role for the work-at-home professional by providing current work-at-home jobs, news, trends, alerts and more. To meet this need I’ve started posting several times a day. The results have been almost immediate with positive changes in my stats and the blog ranked well in Google News Blog search for several of my posts.

While many measure success by money, and admittedly I’d like to have that kind of success, I also measure success by the impact my work has on others. My goal is for Work-At-Home Success’s Blog to be the place to go for up-to-date news and reviews for home-based professionals and those who want to work-at-home. If I can guide people to the right way to work-at-home and help them avoid the scams and questionable schemes, then regardless of stats or income, the blog will be a success.
