Hello , I am so excited to have found oyur website and newsletter. I am in the beginnings of starting my own buisness online. What it will be is a online boutique featuring womens clothing , accessories and make-up at largely discounted prices. I however am scared and nervous I will fail at this. How should I best go about marketing and building a website?
Is there any programs out there that assist and guide someone like myself to get started?
Thank you in advance. Warmest reguards.
Karol.
Hi Karol,
There are entire books written on setting up a website and marketing. The topics are way to involved for a simple answer here. I would say that you should read the site and find good books that can help you organize and plan your business. I might suggest you start with an eBay store front. I think your line would be perfect for it, and its easy and low cost to set up. Once you’re up and running you can create another storefront. Because you need shopping carts, payment processing etc, eBay is likely the faster, easier, less expensive option. Have you checked out my friend Jenn Cangelosi’s site http://www.boutiquebargains.com. She may have some tips for you too.
I really appreciate the facts that you have shared with this post, in which this will help to give ideas about home business marketing.

Thanks for the information and great content. I am always going through the internet searching for good content to get ideas for my easy home based business web sites and Thanks for the information and great content. I am always going through the internet future articles on this general subject.
I especially liked the community service angle. People like to do business with people they know and trust — goes the old saying and there is nothing like this kind of networking, either.

Thanks for the comment Amanda. And you’re right. Especially today, people prefer to do business with people they know and trust or at least see out in the community. Referrals are a big help as well and community involvement and networking can help garner referrals.
